Depending on your needs, this may include lab testing recommendations, supplements, recipes, and meal plans.

What’s included:

  • HIPAA complainant client portal/app for appointment scheduling, telehealth visits, chat messaging, goal setting, journaling, tracking metrics, and more.
  • Educational materials to help implement new healthy habits
  • Meal plans tailored to your specific needs
  • Discounted supplements through Fullscript dispensary
  • Support to develop healthy, sustainable lifestyle changes

Are visits covered by insurance?

Yes, most visits are covered by insurance with a $0 copay. I accept BCBS, UHC, Medicare, and Cigna. Most insurance plans cover nutrition visits via telehealth the same way they cover in-office appointments. Usually, clients meet with me weekly, biweekly, monthly, or as needed. If you don’t have insurance, I accept the self-pay option with a credit card on file, HSA/FSA card, or custom packages.

Yes, if you plan to use insurance; Insurance requires that we meet “face-to-face with the patient,” meaning your child must be present for at least part of the session. Seeing and interacting with them allows us to assess their nutrition status and provide personalized recommendations.

However, if you prefer a consultation as a parent or caregiver to discuss general pediatric or adolescent nutrition, we can meet separately, but these sessions would be out-of-pocket.

A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is a licensed healthcare professional with specialized training in nutrition. Unlike general “nutritionists,” RDNs complete rigorous education, supervised practice, and a national exam to provide evidence-based nutrition therapy for conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and weight management. If you’re looking for trusted, science-backed nutrition guidance, an RDN is your best choice!

Creating lasting lifestyle changes and building healthy habits takes time, but with consistency, you’ll start seeing improvements in your lab results and overall well-being. You can expect the following:

  • Lower A1C and fasting blood glucose levels and reduced risk of kidney disease and other comlication
  • Better understanding of how to balance meals with carb choices
  • Improved cholesterol levels
  • Reduced blood pressure and reduced risk of heart disease
  • Gradual, healthy weight loss without dieting and restrictions
  • A sustainable, enjoyable approach to nutrition that works for you

Research has consistently demonstrated that working with a dietitian can significantly improve blood glucose control. For instance, a study published in the Journal of Diabetes Care found that dietitian-led nutrition therapy effectively reduced HbA1c levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes.
