We accept insurance!
Individual consultations are available in person or via telehealth or phone on a secured health platform. I accept the following insurance plans: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, Cigna, and United Health.




Please call your insurance company before your appointment to check your nutrition coverage. This will help you get the most out of your benefits and avoid any financial surprises.
Insured Clients
Most insurance plans consider nutrition counseling to be a preventative service, covered at 100% with no patient responsibility! Please verify your specific coverage plan!
Some insurance plans consider it a medical service. Most insurance plans cover nutrition appointments via telehealth the same as in-office. Visit might be covered as follows:
- Covered at 100% with no patient responsibility
- Payment subject to specialist copay, deductible and/or coinsurance
- Verify your nutrition counseling benefits before the visit, by using the guide below.
Self Pay Clients
A valid credit/debit card on file is required and will be used for self-pay fees, any copayments, deductibles, and non-covered services such as meal plans. You may also keep an HSA/FSA card on file for eligible transactions.
Self-pay rates are as follows:
$ 250 for your initial visit (60 minutes)
$450 package for 3 follow up visits (45 minutes)
Custom Packages Available by Request.
If you have Medicare (the red, white, and blue card)…
…you may be able to see a dietitian at zero cost to you!
Important Information for Medicare Patients

Our Policies & Procedures
- Please complete all forms within 24 hours of your appointment to avoid cancellation.
- Please download labs and referral to documents in your secured portal.
- If you schedule an appointment for your child, include your child’s name, not your own, on all forms.
- All payments are expected at the time of visit, including out-of-pocket, co-pay, and coinsurance. Please bring an insurance card, photo ID, and necessary doctor referrals.
- A credit card on file is required.
- BLS Nutrition requires 24 hour advance notification to cancel an appointment. You are responsible to pay for appointments that are not canceled within 24 hours of your scheduled visit.
- Late Cancellation & No Show Fees: $100
